Since I think gingerbread houses are super cute, I thought it would be fun to make gingerbread houses with my kiddos. I found an awesome gingerbread village kit that included four mini houses, which meant each person in our family could make a little gingerbread house since we're a family of four. Perfect!

I bought this Gingerbread Mini Village Kit.
The piece of the houses were together and needed to be broken apart and assembled in the form of the houses.
My husband read the instructions and assembled the gingerbread houses. He said the instructions state that the houses may not look like the houses pictured on the box... 😁
The kiddos had fun decorating their houses. Things got a little messy, but they had a blast, and that's all that matters. 😊

This is my husband's gingerbread house, but our son helped him with it.
Thanks for visiting our gingerbread village.😀

Aaaaaah, they're so cute and mini! I've been extolling the virtues of A-frame houses on my blog for years, and whenever I see one in mass production, I wonder if they were influenced by my posts. That would be cool, wouldn't it?? No way to know, but I like to think I've had a mark on the world. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Our kids loved making gingerbread houses when they were little.
ReplyDeleteWe love making gingerbread houses too. Each person having their own house is a must!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun family project! I have been wanting to do a gingerbread house. I see you have done yours early - do they last through Christmas?
