To create this blanket, I followed a pattern in the crochet book A Year of Baby Afghans Book 5. The blanket in the book has purple and yellow flowers, but I decided to crochet pink and purple flowers instead.
Sometimes I used my carrot crochet hook while making this blanket.
I love the edges of this blanket!
The pattern worked up quick, especially once I memorized it, which didn't take long.
When I finished the blanket, I folded it neatly and tied a ribbon around it. I added my card and care instructions. My mother informed me that the recipient LOVED it! Yay! I definitely plan on making another blanket like this soon. I think next time, I'll make pink and yellow flowers.
oh wow! T'onna! This is gorgeous! I think it would look lovely with the pink and yellow too. The packaging is beautifully done too! Pinned to share :)
