My kiddos love when I bake cookies for them, and they enjoy them even more when I allow them to help Mommy (that's me!) bake the cookies. And since it's the holiday season, we've been trying new cookie recipes. I found the yummy recipe for these Double Chocolate Chip M&M Cookies (Santa's Cookies) on the Creme De La Crumb blog. The kiddos helped me make a batch of these Chocolate Chip and M&M Christmas Cookies as one of our Thanksgiving dinner desserts, and we'll definitely make more for Santa on Christmas Eve. These cookies are so festive with the red and green M&Ms.

IT'S DAY 11, AND WE'VE BEEN IN THE KITCHEN MAKING SOMETHING SWEET TO SHARE!
To bake these cookies, you'll need:
⇢2 cups flour
⇢¼ cup sugar
⇢¾ cup brown sugar
⇢1 small (3.4 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding mix
⇢1 teaspoon baking soda
⇢½ teaspoon salt
⇢¾ cup softened butter
⇢1 teaspoon vanilla
⇢1 egg
⇢1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
⇢1 cup white chocolate chips
⇢1 cup red and green M&M candies
I mixed all the dry ingredients, and then added the rest of the ingredients. Then I put the mixture in the fridge for about an hour. Then I used my cookie scoop to put the cookie on my baking sheets and baked the cookies for about 12 minutes at 350 degrees.
After the cookies finished cooling, they were ready to serve! I love the red & green M&Ms and the white chocolate chips! So Christmasy! 🌲
The kids had milk with their cookies, but I had hot cocoa in my new favorite Rae Dunn Christmas mug. Yes, I'm one of those people who's obsessed with Rae Dunn...😁
These cookies were very yummy, and we're going to leave some out for Santa on Christmas Eve. The kids and I saw Santa today, and he told us to remember to leave out some carrots for his reindeer, so we'll do that too!
