Crochet Gingerbread Men Scarf

Welcome to the December Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop, hosted by My Pinterventures. The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month, I decided to share my Crochet Gingerbread Men Scarf. Christmas is my favorite time of year, and I love making handmade Christmas crafts. And I was recently inspired to create a Gingerbread Man Scarf. To create these gingerbread men, I used a free crochet pattern by Repeat Crafter Me that I discovered while browsing Pinterest.

For this project, I used Big Twist Premium yarn in Gingerbread. It's obviously perfect for crocheting gingerbread men! For the mouth and outline of the gingerbread men, I used Caron Simply Soft White. After crocheting 10 gingerbread men, I sewed them together using the gingerbread yarn and a yarn needle.

For the eyes, I attached black buttons. Then I used Super Fabric Glue to attach sparkly red and green mini pom poms.
The gingerbread men in the middle of the scarf are connected at their heads.

This scarf is approximately 68 inches long and 5 inches wide, so it's perfect for wearing wrapped around the neck, and this fun Gingerbread Men Scarf is perfect to wear to show off your holiday spirit.

These guys can keep you warm on chilly winter days!😆

I love gingerbread crafts. I recently constructed a Gingerbread Village with my family. I recently shared my Crochet Gingerbread Christmas Stockings and Crochet Gingerbread Mug Rugs. So I was delighted to find a Rae Dunn Gingerbread mug! I'm drinking eggnog. Yum!
Thanks for checking out my Crochet Gingerbread Men Scarf!

  3. I absolutely love this! Adorable! Wish I had your talent and ability to make one myself. Maybe if I'm a really good girl Mrs Claus will make one for Santa to bring?

  10. I haven't had a chance to get around to all of the Pinterest Challenge posts from December yet, but I saw this at the Snickerdoodle Party, and the first thing that popped into my mind was Repeat Crafter Me's Gingerbread pattern. Love how you turned it into a scarf! What a really fun accessory.
