Welcome to the October Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop, hosted by My Pinterventures. The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month, I'm sharing a pair of Popcorn Fingerless Gloves. While on Pinterest, I found a photo of Popcorn Wrist Warmers by my favorite crochet designer, Twinkie Chan, and I knew I had to make them. I couldn't find a pattern, so I just winged it.
For these gloves, I used red, white, and yellow I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby. I crocheted them with a size 4.5 Clover crochet hook. I created rows of red and white. The entire glove is ribbed, so they fit really snuggly.
I left and opening for the thumb, of course! I created popcorn at the top of the gloves. I also crochet white circles and stitched on the word POP.
I sewed on the pop circles and the gloves are complete! Thanks for checking out my Popcorn Gloves! I'm currently working on another Popcorn Scarf to go with these popping gloves! ↡Now, scroll down to check out the other Pinterest Challenge creations.↡
