Dress Form Christmas Tree

Christmas time is my favorite time of year, and I'm always excited about putting up my Christmas tree. I usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving to put up our tree, but over the last couple years, I keep putting the tree up earlier and earlier. This year, I put up my trees (yes trees) on November 7th. It was the day after my son's 6th birthday, and he and my daughter were very excited about putting up the Christmas tree. I like the idea of going from Halloween straight into Christmas. 😊🎄 And just like last year, I'm joining Christmas Trees on Parade hosted by Terri Steffes of Christmas Tree Lane to show off my Dress Form Christmas Tree. Don't worry, I still have my Seahawks Themed Christmas Tree. 😊🎄💙💚 Oh and this year, we're having an ornament giveaway, so make sure you scroll down for that!

Since we recently moved into a new house, I decided that I wanted two Christmas trees. Our new house has a living room and a family room, but we use the living room as my craft room and school room. I love having my usual Seahawks tree, so that one is in the family room. But I wanted something different for the craft room/school room. I've seen so many dress form Christmas trees, and I love them. So now I finally have one!

I ordered a new Christmas tree, and that one is in my living room as the Seahawks tree. I used my old tree to create the dress form tree since some of the lights no longer work. My husband tried switching out bulbs, but the whole middle section of the tree would not work. So, I folded the tree in half and stuck the top of the dress form on top of it.

Here's the dress form on top of the tree.

I stuffed the dress form with teal tinsel and ornaments.

At first, I draped more teal tinsel on her shoulder, but I later decided to tie it in a bow around her waist. I added all my Crochet Christmas Baubles and Crochet Granny Baubles to the tree.

These are some of the Crochet Christmas Baubles that are one my dress form tree.

This is my ornament for the giveaway (at the end of this post).

I thought it would be cool to give her a head, so I painted an old styrofoam head black to match the black dress form. I also gave her a teal crown. But I felt like something was missing... Does she need hair? IDK... Off with her head! 😜😁😆

I think I like her better without her head... I tied the tinsel into a bow around her waist.

Thanks so much for stopping by to view my Christmas tree in this year's Christmas Tree Parade. Now, scroll down to enter an ornament giveaway and to see the other Christmas trees!!!

  2. That is so cool, T'onna! I had no idea that you put your dress form tree together yourself! Remember when I spotted it in the corner? How unique and adorable! I looked on Amazon to see what they had but I believe the prices were outrageous for what they offered.
