Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge! The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate us to not just pin, but to make it happen! This month's challenge is Magical March, so I decided to create a fairy themed tiered tray. I haven't decorated my tiered tray since December, and I had put it away in a storage closet. So this challenge was great inspiration to get me to decorate my tiered tray again. Of course, I searched Pinterest for inspiration, and I found a pin for 20 Whimsical DIY Miniature Fairy Garden Ideas. You can also find more fairy garden inspiration and DIYs in my Fairy Garden board.
Supplies:
For this project, I purchased most of my supplies from the Dollar Tree.
I added the eucalyptus scented potpourri all three levels of my tiered tray. I used this as my base since I didn't find the moss grass I wanted. It smells soooooo good!
I used to have a cute store-bought fairy bridge, but I cannot find it! We moved last year, and there are so many things I still have not found! Anyhoo... I decided to use the styrofoam and pebbles to create a stony bridge.
I hot glued many stones to the styrofoam to create the bridge.
I created a blue river with the flat blue marbles, and I placed the bridge over the river.
I found this candle holder thingy in the store, but the cashier said it was supposed to come with a mason jar, but it didn't, so she sold it to me for 50¢. I used it to create a well because I didn't see a fairy well at the store. I used the styrofoam to create the base for the well.
I glued on lots of stones and burned myself a few times in the process.
I added flat blue marbles to the well to represent water. I tied twine around the handle of a basket and glued it to the top of the well. I used larges pieces of potpourri to create the top of the well... I'm not sure how I feel about the top of the well.
I used the regular sized and mini craft sticks to create a couple ladders.
I added these fairies, animals, and other items to the fairy garden.
Tier 1: This is my favorite level of the tray. I like the river and bridge. I also added a lemon fairy house to this tier.
Tier 2: This level has a cactus themed fairy house and the well.
Tier 3: This level has an apple fairy house and a bird's nest.
Thanks for checking out my Fairy Garden Tiered Tray!
Now that I've got my tiered tray out again, I definitely have to decorate it for Easter. I hope you'll stop by again soon to see what I'm up to! Now scroll down to see what my blogging friends created!

DeleteT'onna!! This is amazing!! So much thought went into all the little details, and decorating not one, but three levels! I am so impressed! AND the potpourri was so perfect - I like it so much more than the idea of moss, and it's so unexpected.
