One of my goals for this year has been to actually make projects from the patterns in the many crochet books I own. So I finally got around to making a scarf from the Amigurumi Animal Scarves book. This book has so many cute patterns, and I decided to start with the Lizzy the Lamb Scarf. I've had some Bernat Pipsqueak yarn in my stash for a while, and I've really been wanting to use it.
For this scarf, I used Bernat Pipsqueak yarn in the color Vanilla.
I crocheted this project using a 5.5 crochet hook. The hook in the picture is a Light House Crochet Hook I made a couple years ago. Using a fun hook makes crocheting even more fun. 😁
Crocheting the main body of the scarf was pretty fast.
After the body, I crocheted the head. For the face, I used Vanna's Choice Beige.
I added the ears and 16mm safety eyes. I stitched on the nose with a yarn needle and Vanna's Choice Black yarn. The cheeks were crocheted with Vanna's Choice Pink yarn.
I crocheted the legs with the Bernat Pipsqueak yarn and Vanna's Choice Black yarn.
Once all the crocheting was done, I used a yarn needle to stitch the legs and head onto the body of the scarf.
This Little Lamb Scarf is about 59 inches long and 5 inches wide.
This scarf is available in my Etsy shop. Thanks for stopping by!
