A couple months ago, my mom saw some wall mounted plant hangers in a Facebook group, and she fell in love with them. They were crochet, so she asked if I could make them. I've never made plant hangers before, but after doing a little searching online, I found the pattern for the plant hangers. Then I needed to get yarn. Once I had the pattern (Wall Mounted Plant Holder) and the yarn, I got to work!
This this project, I used I Love This Cotton yarn. My mother requested neutral colors, so I chose Brown, Antique Gold, and Olive. I bought two skeins of each color, but I only ended up using one skein to create a large and small plant holder.
The pattern works up really quick, and it was easy to memorize after you make one. First, I made one with the brown yarn.
...then olive.
...and Antique Gold.
Here all are the plant holders.
These are the large plant holders holding some of my plants. I got all these plants about three years ago, and the only one that has grown at all is the cactus in the Antique Gold plant holder. I'm not a plant lady...😁
Here are the same plants in the small plant holders.
Thanks so much for stopping by to check out my plant holders. If you'd like to make you own, be sure to check out the Wall Mounted Plant Holder Pattern by Serendipity As Always on Etsy. And the I Love This Cotton yarn worked really well for this project.
